Dear Festividder,
Thank you for signing up! I'm so grateful that you are willing to devote time and energy to making me a vid. Please have fun and know that I will love whatever you make.
Im not going to specify any particular songs. One of the great joys of watching vids is discovering new music :0) I have genre preferences, in that I don't really enjoy country, opera, or thrash metal, but pretty much everything else is fair game. Choose what you feel in your heart works best for the vid.
My fandom requests contain vague thoughts about theme, which are intended to be helpful prompts but can be completely ignored if you wish. As with the music, follow your heart and make the vid that feels right.

Elizabethtown (safety)
I liked how sweet and gentle this film was, so I'd like a vid that captures that vibe.
The Flight Of The Conchords
I'd love a Brett & Jemaine friendship vid.
Game On
This is an English sitcom that had 3 seasons, but like most Brit comedies, had only 6 eps per season. Also, they changed a main actor after season one, so it's almost a safety fandom, because my main request here is not to mix the two guys who play Matthew. That means either vidding season 1 alone or 2 & 3. I'd love a team vid for Matt, Mandy and Martin, or one that focuses on agoraphobic Matt's attempts to amuse himself while trapped in the flat.
James Bond Films (safety if you pick a single film)
I've been a bit of a Bond fan since Duran Duran did the theme tune to one, so I went along to see it because of that, and loved it to bits. So I'd be quite happy if you just vidded "A View To A Kill." If you want more scope, I would prefer you focus on just one Bond. As with Game On, I think mixing actors might look a bit odd. The Roger Moore years were my favourite.
LA Story
This film is a bit sentimental for me. When I first started seeing my husband, it seemed to be on in every hotel we stayed at when we went on holiday. He picked an expression from the film as my nickname, and it became "our movie." It's funny and quirky and I think it would make a cute vid.
Quantum Leap
I'm probably being a bit greedy asking for this again after I got an awesome treat last year, but there are not enough Quantum Leap vids in the world. This show was one of my first fandoms, before I knew what fandom was. Oh, Sam. I loved seeing his vulnerable side. And his bare chest.
Storm Chasers
OMG how I would love to see this show vidded! Reed and his team in The Dominator, Sean and his guys in The TIV, driving into tornadoes to get weather data and IMAX footage. It doesn't need narrative, just lots of twister-y action. The more weather, the better.
Two Guys A Girl and a Pizza Place
Finally this show is out on DVD (although not all the seasons yet). Ryan Reynolds and Nathan Fillion before they got famous! I'd love a Pete/Berg friendship vid, or a team vid with them and Sharon. To be honest, I'd love anything. You cannot go wrong.
That about covers it! Best wishes, dear Festividder. Once again, thank you, and have fun.

OMG, your list is pretty awesome. QL was my first big fandom, although X-Files was as well but the fandom was big and scary so I stuck to the outskirts of it. And Two Guys... would be fantastic to vid! I know it's a longshot since the DVDs just came out, but I'm crossing my fingers for this one.

I don't watch Storm Chasers but I can imagine the epic vid that could be made with that. I'm imagining Ride of the Valkyries without Elmer Fudd and Bugs Bunny. Hmmm, or maybe an overlay of the cartoon? LOL!

I haven't vidded in 3 or 4 years. My computer stopped being able to render the clips and it got to be so frustrating I just stopped. I haven't had the money to get a new computer but the time is coming soon that I *have* to get one since it's on its last legs as we speak. So I may start again but I would need to relearn everything. And I'm sure the software has changed in those feels like a very daunting task.

Aw, that's a shame. If you do decide to get back into it, I recommend Sony Vegas Movie Studio - lots of features for not very much money. There are loads of YouTube tutorials and we have a forum with tech support. I hope you find your way back to it one day!
