I just read The Art Of Losing by Kyra Cullinan. It's the first non Buffy/Angel fanfic I've ever read, and it's wonderful. If you're a Star Trek Voyager fan, go read it. A nice bit of post "Endgame" angst.

A musical recommendation

I don't know if this is available anywhere but in New Zealand, but if you ever get the chance, check out Brooke Fraser, and her wonderful debut single "Better". I've had it for just over 24 hours, and I've listened to it about 12 times already. This girl is talented! Raise the hair on the back of your neck and goosbumps on your arms talented. Kinda Sarah McLachlan-y but maybe with a little more contemporary pop added in. Nice acousitic-y guitar driven folk/pop. Can't find a sample online to link to...
