Squeeeeeee!
Sep. 21st, 2003 12:12 amI just saw some lightning!
Oh, happy day! The Warriors beat the Canberra Raiders (you bastards for winning 17-16 in the third to last minute - I think I had a heart attack from the stress...).
Now, if only that storm would come a bit closer, I could drive up to the top of the hill I live on and watch it. There's a little cul-de-sac that looks out over the inlet and the Henderson valley all the way to the Waitakere Ranges, and when there's a storm coming in from the west, it's like sitting in a big amphitheatre :o)
Okay, so I'm in my pyjamas, who cares? One night hubby and I went driving in our pj's to look at the fog. We were watching the All Black trial match on telly, and the stadium was engulfed in fog - so much so you couldn't see from one end of the football field to the other, at one point. Made for rather entertaining rugby viewing. Since the stadium they were playing at was just 10 minutes from our house, we leapt into the car and went on fog-patrol. It was a good giggle!
Oh, dammit! The storm seems to have stopped. Stop teasing me!!!
