1. What did you do in 2003 that you'd never done before?
Puked out of my nose.
2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I didn't make any last year. I've made one this year, but it's unlikely to be kept!
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
My husband's best friend had a little girl.
4. Did anyone close to you die?
Both of my grandparents (one on either side of the family) within 24 hours of each other. And seven of my pet rats (at intervals throught the year).
5. What countries did you visit?
None.
6. What would you like to have in 2004 that you lacked in 2003?
A feeling of control.
7. What date from 2003 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
January 20th - the start of The Week of Death, during which I lost a pet or a Grandparent on every day except Friday.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Not going mad.
9. What was your biggest failure?
The big panic attack I had in May.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Struggled with a little of the old anxiety disorder, and there was the non-specific intestinal distress of October/November. And I dropped a large frozen soft-drink bottle on my toe. That really hurt.
11. What was the best thing you bought?
My new car.
12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
My sister, who spent a whole week helping tame my garden. My husband, who looked after me so well when I was sick.
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
A lot of people I saw on the News.
14. Where did most of your money go?
Mortgage! Though I have treated myself to some new furniture and electrical equipment. And the car, although the money for that was a present.
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Writing fanfic, and the feedback I got from it. Seeing Duran Duran. The new car.
16. What song will always remind you of 2003?
White Flag - Dido.
17. Compared to this time last year, are you:
i. happier or sadder? Happier.
ii. thinner or fatter? Thinner.
iii. richer or poorer? Richer (on paper, anyway).
18. What do you wish you'd done more of?
Relax.
19. What do you wish you'd done less of?
Cry. Feel ill. Bury pets.
20. How will you be spending Christmas?
I spent it at my parent's place, as we do every year. Turkey and wine and falling asleep on the couch.

Not with anyone new!
23. How many one-night stands?
None, I'm married.
24. What was your favorite TV program?
