Yeah, baby!

Hooray for Sarah Ulmer, who won us our second gold medal this morning, in the cycling 3000m pursuit. That's the third time she's broken the world record in two days, and a massive 6.067 seconds faster than her WR time at the World Champs earlier this year. I felt so badly for her in Sydney, when she was pipped for bronze by a fraction of a second. It came out a couple of weeks later that she'd had surgery to remove an ovarian cyst just days beforehand. But this year nothing went wrong, and I have to admit to blubbing like a baby when I watched her singing the national anthem with tears streaming down her face. We so seldom get to hear it at the Olympics. For a tiny country I think we do pretty well :o)
