Theories on RDA's paleness

A lot of people have mentioned that Richard Dean Anderson looks pale lately. I have a theory about it. I kept thinking something looked different when I saw his latest tv appearance - and now I've worked out what it is. The front of his hair has gone completely silver. Even in Moebius pt 2, there was a big tuft at the front that was still dark. Now it's almost all white-grey, all over his head. That can certainly wash a person out - like if you bleach your hair very blonde when it's normally dark, it can have the effect of making you look very pasty. Perhaps that's it? I looked at his skin and it still seems quite tanned. I hope I'm right, and there's nothing wrong with him. A lot of people have mentioned he looks ill.
