Post a list of your top five favorite vids you've made, regardless of fandom or the reason you love them. this isn't about the BEST things you've made, but what you LOVE most. then tag five other people to do the same.
Fallen - Angel The Series
Not only do I actually think this is the best thing I've done, but it's also about my favourite character, Cordelia. I cried over what happened to her, and this vid is my way of paying tribute to her story, even though I hated some of it. Is it sad when you get teary over your own vid? It was also my first foray into major use of effects, overlays, zooms, flashies, and major adjustment of the colour/saturation.
Walk The Dinosaur - Stargate SG-1
My first non Whedonverse vid. I am super proud of it because it was played at several Creation Official Stargate Conventions in 2005, and I loved the fit of this song to the Unas storyline. I'm also particularly happy with the editing to the beat, and the on-screen text that co-incides with the lyrics.
The Bitter End - BTVS
I really liked the premise to this one - the idea for the song and content was my husband's. It's also the vid where I first really got into cutting on the beats, and learned all about consistent aspect ratios. I did a huge amount of learning while making it, moreso than any other vid. And I feel it really sums up the show for me.
Drift Away - ATS/BTVS
Not the best technically, by a long shot, but this one came together so easily. Suggested bystarlet2367 and landrews - I thought the premise and song would never work together, until I tried it. Possibly my quickest vid, the editing was done in just a couple of days.
You're Only Human - ATS/BTVS
Just my 2nd vid, and the first I won an award for. Again, technically it's pretty bad, but I just love my clumsy Wesley. I should remaster this one, but I'm worried I'll ruin the heart of it.
Not tagging anyone in particular - I think most of the vidders on my f-list have done this already!
