I have the writing itch, but I just can't seem to get that final push that turns inertia into action. So, people, challenge me! I'll write Angel or Stargate SG-1, any rating. Ever have a really cool idea for a fic but couldn't be bothered to write it yourself? Or just wanted to read a particular scenario and nobody's written it yet? I can't promise that I'll actually take any of these up, but all it takes is one to grab my imagination. It could just be one sentence (like psychofilly's challenge - "Angel and Cordelia, on the hood of a car, on the worst night of her life" which spawned Deluge and the sequel Oblivion) or an entire carefully thought-out scenario.

I also take vid requests. Again, can't promise I'll act on them, because vids take me aaaaages and it has to be an idea that really spins my wheels for me to commit so much time to it. I can do Buffy, Angel, and SG-1 (although there are some file format issues that make the Stargate ones really hard to do, but I can manage episodics or ones based on just a few eps). Give me a theme and a song you'd like to see tackled.

Things currently in production that I haven't finished:

Stargate SG-1 genfic (Daniel-centric) - currently languishing at a paltry 29 pages on my hard drive, though it promises to be quite long when finished. I actually have the whole thing plotted out in my head. I'm hoping that after writing a few shorter things, I'll feel able to get back into this one.

Vid request for starlet2367 - currently in the scene selection phase (which means watching Seasons 5 & 6 of BTVS on fast forward!) although I've already edited together the bit in the middle (you know the bit I'm talking about, Kel!)

Planned - another Buffy vid - sort of a companion piece to Kel's request - and two Stargate vids, both of which may well take up to six months to complete, since I have to watch the WHOLE SHOW again for my clip research. We're talking 140 plus episodes. And I doubt I'll be doing that on fast forward *g*

So, challenge away. I'll see what I can do.

Barring that, just write whatever strikes your fancy, babe! I know what you mean, though. It's been over a year since I wrote a word. I used to be able to do it. I don't know what happened. *sigh*

What a cool idea! I fear I may not be imaginative enough to create entirely new characters for such a story, but it is intriguing.

I know I should just sit down and write SOMETHING, however crap it comes out, just to get going again. I've suddenly realised how much I miss it.

I for one always wanted to know what happened to Kate after Epiphany, because no one ever bothered to tell. I'd love to read a story about her and Angel meeting again post NFA. I'm almost desperate enough to try it myself, but if you want to write something like that... *wink*

Well, I did offer that challenge awhile back with the SG-1/ATS cross over.

Although, now it would be more fun just to have Cordy show up on SG-1. Could you imagine the fun of a Cordy/Veela scene? There's so many fun pairings, Cordy/Daniel, Cordy/Cameron, or you could have a little Cordy/Daniel/Veela triangle.

Yes, I hadn't forgotten about that! I'm wanting to get back in practice before I tackle it, because it has a lot of potential and could be a huge story. I still love the idea of Cordy and Daniel descending in the wrong places :o)

You don't know me, I lurk a lot, but this great offer of yours is just way too good to pass up so I'm throwin' my hat in:

I've always wanted to see a fic set in Btvs S3, where Angel is somehow there in the factory during Lover's Walk and sees Cordy fall and get impaled. He helps get her to safety - she isn't really aware of him, cuz, you know, impaled and all, but he's frantic for her. Now, whether this is Ats S2 Angel time traveling for whatever reason or Btvs Angel is up to you, but if it's Btvs Angel than there should be an ember of feeling for her that he's usually got buried. And he goes to the hospital to see her, before Xander.
Gulp. I hope this isn't presumptuous or anything, the amount of requirements I threw in there, but I have always wanted to see this played out. NC-17 due to violence, language and adult situations always a plus:)

Okay ignore the spelling because those bloody apostrophes get me every time but how about T'ealc walking into a room spotting Daniel and Vala, arching an eyebrow, muttering "Taree" under his breath and walking out again. The rest is up to you. ;)

*giggle* I'm very keen to do some Daniel/Vala. I just want to see the rest of their arc, then I'm definitely writing something!
