Okay, before Buffy and Angel, before DVD players, and Discmans, and the Internet...

There was Duran Duran.

My very first fanfic was written about them. My first major fangirl crush was on John Taylor. I loved them with a deep and fiery passion.

But alas, sob, they never came to New Zealand. I have never seen them in concert. I've met a few of them, but that's about it. But now, finally, when I thought it would never happen...

OMG, I'm sooo jealous!! I'd sell my soul to see Duran Duran in concert and my god did I just say that out loud?

Surely it should be Duran Duran supported by lardy boy Williams? There's something so wrong about DD being a supporting act. Very very wrong.

Anyway, I don't care, because I get to see my boys after all this time!

I've met Simon and John and Nick before (on various trips to England) but never seen them live.
