Post a list of your top five favorite fics you've written, regardless of fandom or the reason you love them. This isn't about the BEST things you've written, but what you LOVE most. Then tag five other people to do the same.
The Case Of The Missing Santas - This holds the top place in my heart out of all the fics I've written. My only true genfic, and it came from the single idea of trying to get Angel into a Santa suit. I wanted to do a Rheanna-style case-of-the-week Season 1 story that captured the voices and the mood of the Fang Gang, and fitted into canon, and I felt I managed it with this. It came out almost perfectly formed. Very few changes were needed in beta. I proved to myself I could write something that didn't need sex in it to make it interesting. Well, I hope so, anyway.
Ghost Of A Chance - ATS. Another one very dear to me. This was my only attempt at co-writing, and it was with my fanfic gurustarlet2367 which made it extra-special. The whole process was really enjoyable, and I loved the heart of this one. Dennis is a much overlooked character and I adore that he got a voice in this. And that we managed to get plausible Season 1 Angel/Cordy (sort of). I love Season 1 fics :o)
Deluge - ATS. My first PWP! This was a challenge frompsychofilly who wanted car-hood-smut in the rain, on the worst day of Cordy's life. I love the sex/storm combo. And the fact that there's a teeny bit of plot in there, if you look really hard.
Blurry - ATS. This was my first ever response to a challenge, and I was really worried that I wouldn't be able to write within set parameters. I liked exploring the in-between moments that fitted into canon, directly before or after scenes in the show.
Solace - Stargate SG-1. My first non-Whedonverse fic. I was pleased that I managed to write outside the fandom I'd grown accustomed to. Again, PWP, and pure wish fulfillment. I'd have loved to see Daniel and Sam together in the show. And who doesn't love a drunk, hurting, embarrassed and horny Dr Jackson? *slurp*
