Just going through my retro music folder on my compy, and OMG how I love the 80's. Maybe that's the same for everyone and the music they listened to during their teens.

My absolute favourites...
Islands In The Stream - Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton
Heaven Help The Man - Kenny Loggins (Footloose Soundtrack)
Wouldn't It Be Good - Nik Kershaw
Broken Wings - Mr Mister
Easy Lover - Phil Bailey and Phil Collins
Current Stand - Kids In The Kitchen (Aussies will know these guys)
Leaving Me Now - Level 42
I've Been Losing You - A-ha
The Way It Is - Bruce Hornsby & The Range
You Never Listen To Me - Peter Cetera
Woman In Chains - Tears For Fears

Odd, that my two favourite bands, Duran Duran and Wham, don't have a song featured here.

Feel free to laugh and mock now.

Nothing wrong with some 80s music! I love music from all eras though since I think there is good and bad in every period, but then I love music.

That Kenny & Dolly song is totally awesome as well.

I love the 80's with a passion. It brings back memories of being 16 in my little black stretch mini, with a big, flowly, satin hot pink shirt, hot pink pop socks, lace in my hair, and huge dangly earrings. Oh, and the permed mullet. *dies*

Islands in the stream, that is what we are, no-one in between... *sings*

Obviously, so do you! ;o) Tears for Fears rocked my world. I wanted Curt Smith in the worst way. But I wanted John Taylor more. *slobber*

I think TFF is probably my favorite quote unquote "Pop" band from the 80's. "The Seeds Of Love" is one of my all time favorite albums, CD's whatever you want to call it. And since Roland was my favorite, we wouldn't have had to fight over Curt or anything!

Ah, see, I never really liked any of Duran's popular singles. I always preferred obscure album tracks like Friends Of Mine from the first one, Proposition from Notorious and Palomino from Big Thing. In fact, I played Palomino every morning for a whole year. But that was a 90's song.

I loved Come On Eileen.

OMG, now I want to do a Footloose video to Heaven Help The Man. Someone stop me!
