My contribution to the Stranger Things Halloween Ficathon. The prompt is at the end of the story to avoid giving away any plot points.

Summary: When Cordelia misinterprets a vision the consequences are fatal and her confidence is shattered, putting more lives - including her own - at risk. Set after Expecting, Season One. Please pretend this is when Halloween occurred in the Angelverse (even though the actual ep screened in January!). Gen, plotfic.

Just reading this now, CB!!! What a great little story. I always admire your smooth, seamless descriptions of your character's inner reactions and outer reactions. For example, the hand to hand action with the coffee mug with Cordy thinking about not wanting Angel to psychoanalyze her and about have a sympathy date. And also Wes! You did him wonderfully for S1. You even sold me on the candy bar, lol. He was always hungry then. LOL at him cheerfully proceeding to the car and his chummy interactions with Angel. Great job, bebe! I'm struggling with mine :-)
