a. post a list of 15-20 tv shows you love (current or cancelled)
b. have your friends list guess your favorite character from each show.
c. when guessed bold the line and write a little bit about why you like that character, or your favorite quote. (include a picture if you want!)
d. post in your own livejournal.
1. Angel
Cordelia. Who else? I love her blunt tactlessness. And the way she actually did have hidden depths. I loved her strength and her unique perspective. Possibly my favourite TV character of all time.
2. Buffy The Vampire Slayer
Xander ran a close second, but Giles is my favourite for his exasperated Englishness.
3. Stargate SG-1 (anyone who doesn't get this will be immediately de-friended, LOL)
Daniel, of course. Despite being criminally hot, I liked the fact that at the start he always looked on the positive side and tried to see the good in people. He preferred words to guns and his passion for what he did was strong enough to get him killed.
4. Bones
5. Grey's Anatomy
6. Friends
7. Scrubs
8. Family Guy
Stewie Griffin. Matricidal toddler. He gets all the best lines. Like when he's reading the Bible. "Yes, I rather like this God fellow. He's very theatrical, you know, a pestilence here, a plague there. Omnipotence. Gotta get me some of that."
9. Firefly
Yes, it's Kaylee, although Jayne ran a close second for naming his gun. I love Kaylee's sweetness and optimism.
10. Two Guys, A Girl & A Pizza Place
This was hard. I liked Irene the crazy cat lady next door, and Mr Bauer, whose lifetime reminiscences were all storylines from well known movies, but Berg won. Hell, Ryan Reynolds. YUM. I especially liked the phase where he volunteered for medical experiments for money, and ended up with an estrogen overload.
11. Star Trek Voyager
12. Red Dwarf
Holly the senile computer, the male version from the earlier seasons. If for nothing else, for this bit of dialogue:
13. BlackAdder
14. The Young Ones
Neil the hippy. God, the episode where he joins the police just cracks me up every time. And when he finds his bike in the bath.
15. Game On (surely I have some British friends who have seen this?)

Holly the senile computer, the male version from the earlier seasons. If for nothing else, for this bit of dialogue:
- Holly: No, they're from Earth. I hope they've got some spare odds and sods on board. We're a bit short on a few supplies.
- Lister: Like what?
- Holly: Cow's milk. Ran out of that yonks ago. Fresh and dehydrated.
- Lister: What kind of milk are we using now?
- Holly: Emergency back-up supply. We're on the dog's milk.
- Lister, staring at his cup of tea. Swallows: Dog's milk?!
- Holly: Nothing wrong with dog's milk. Full of goodness, full of vitamins, full of marrowbone jelly. Lasts longer than any other type of milk, dog's milk.
- Lister: Why?
- Holly: No bugger'll drink it. Plus the advantage of dog's milk is when it goes off it tastes exactly the same as when it's fresh.
- Lister: Why didn't you tell me, Holly?!
- Holly: What, and spoil your tea?
13. BlackAdder
14. The Young Ones

13 - BlackAdder
14 - Neil
Granted, with the exception of Neil over Vivien I picked my favorite characters, but for the most part we agreed on the others.
