Great googly moogly. It's almost 11pm and I just checked the hallway thermometer. 34 degrees. For my non-metric friends, that's 93. I thought New Zealand was supposed to be a temperate climate, not the tropics!

Don't get me wrong, I enjoy a nice hot summer as much as the next person, but usually it's cooler than this at night.

Sounds a bit like here in Texas during the summer. Temps have been known to hit over 113F during the day in the shade!

LOL, that's what I'd expect if I were in Texas or maybe Adelaide, Australia (where it's been in the 40's recently). But Auckland? Skinny little isthmus with ocean on both sides. It's supposed to keep us cool. I love a nice, hot summer day, but at night I also like to be able to sleep. *g*

We're breaking out the paddling pools at coffee group today. Can't wait to see a bunch of naked toddlers splashing around. *grabs camera*
