Attempting to succumb to the squee, part one

Okay, so I'm watching Supernatural.  Did the first 3 eps a couple of weeks ago and had nightmares, so this time decided to watch something a bit fluffier between SPN and bedtime (Merlin FTW!).  Even so, I still missed out the Bloody Mary ep, because I saw it on telly the night I stayed in the NICU parents room with Griffin (as a test to see if I was ready to take him home) and it scared me stupid that time.

So far... not sucked under on a tide of squee like I was with BTVS (it took two eps - The Zeppo and Beauty & The Beast to hook me).  I do appreciate some of the humour, though.  Like Dean introducing himself to someone as Dr James Hetfield. *snort*  Not totally won over yet, but it's enough to keep me watching so far.  And it makes a good companion watch to my other Saturday night staple - Ghost Hunters. *blush*

Actually, the pretty isn't really a big drawcard for me right now. They're almost too pretty, IYKWIM? It's weird, because they're the type I normally go for - dark, tall, a bit damaged, LOL. I think once I get into their characters a little more that will make them more or less attractive to me. Like... I fancy Daniel Jackson way more than Michael Shanks (who plays him) because there's just so much I love about his character.

Watch the Hell House ep! Oooh and the Meg storyline is awesome, don't miss out on that! Also, it's the relationship between the two of them that really sucked me in. The storylines are pretty good, there are a couple of dodgy eps but every show has that, but the chemistry between those two and how it continues to evolve over the course of the seasons is just so good. Plus, you know, they're seriously hot. *g*

I'm not planning to skip any other eps, unless my sister warns me off one (she's already watched the first 3 seasons), so I am sure I'll catch both those things :o)

If you're looking for something more character related wait to you get to "Home" (#9) and "Something Wicked (#18), I think those are really good episodes for insight into the boys.
