The test results on my sore guts come back this afternoon. I am putting money on the fact they won't find anything, and I'll be none the wiser as to why I keep keeling over. I love the "wait and see if it happens again" approach. Not. It's not like I've got anything better to do - like make it through a week at work without taking any MORE time off...
On the happy side, my house has shot up in value by over 30%, due to the burgeoning real estate market here. We had a valuer come through last week, the result was most satisfactory. We're topping up the mortgage so we can do nice things to make the house worth more (mmmmm, automatic garage doors... of course, we'll need a garage first!) And I see a new, Pentium 4 3.2GHz computer in our near future. For some reason hubby keeps seeing Nike golf clubs in his. If that's the case, I can see new furniture in mine as well...

[ x ] Don't have one! No comb either. My hair is about 2inches long, never gets knots. I just use my fingers to style it.
[ x ] Toothbrush – White and purple with bristles of differing lengths (to get those hard-to-reach spots...)
[ x ] Jewelery worn daily – Tissot watch, wedding and engagement rings, also a ceylonese sapphire ring, a plain gold band, a gold claddagh ring, 2 pairs of earrings, a short gold belcher necklace. On the weekend just my watch, unless I'm going out.
[ x ] Pillow cover – Blue cotton one week, sea green cotton the next.
[ x ] Blanket – Don't normally use one, but in the summer we ditch the duvet for a cellular cotton lightweight blanket.
[ x ] Coffee cup – Don't drink it.
[ x ] Sunglasses – Ray bans, kind of Neo-Matrix-style shape. And the spare pair are Oakleys.
[ x ] Underwear – Always cotton. Usually beige (doesn't show through your clothes!) Bland, I tell you.
[ x ] Favorite shirt – Probably my blue Esprit t-shirt with the glittery logo. I like sparkly stuff :o)
[ x ] Cologne/Perfume – L'eau Par Kenzo, when I can get it. Otherwise Happy by Clinique
[ x ] CD in stereo right now – Michelle Branch - combo of tracks from Spirit Room and Hotel Paper.

[ x ] Piercings – Two in each ear. The second set of holes was a dare. What a rebel I am.
[ x ] What you are wearing now – Ankle-length black skirt - comprising of a solid black stretch underskirt and a black chiffon overskirt, both with slits to the knee. Aqua-blue v-neck 1/2 sleeve stretchy top. And my dressing gown over the top. Hey, it's cold. I'll try to take it off when I leave for work!

[ x ] If you could have any animal for a pet, what would it be – If I was always at home, I'd love a big parrot, like an African Grey. Or a poodle. Our friends had a couple who were lovely. I keep rats, and they're wonderful, but don't live very long, and I am always getting my heart broken when they die.
[ x ] What is the latest you've ever stayed up - I've never quite made it all night - although I'm sure I've done a 36 hour plane journey where I barely slept. But other than that, I think when Live Aid was on, I watched all bar two hours.

[ x ] Who is someone that you really wish was still around – My grandad. He died suddenly when I was two. Apparently we are very similar, and I would have loved to have gotten to know him as an adult.

Date: 2003-10-16 11:46 am (UTC)I'm hanging in there. All came back clear (though I could have TOLD them myself that I don't have gonorrhea!), but I'm still getting random pains - just little ones, nothing major. I'm convinced it's my appendix. Dad's gave him jip for two years before it went ballistic. The doctor rang me last night, told me to touch base with her again next week if it hasn't sorted itself out. If it still hurts, I'll be going for an ultrasound.
In the meantime, to cheer me up, I have conjunctivitis in both eyes! But I'm okay. Looking forward to writing some more of our wonderful story. And the Halloween challenge fic. Wooooooo!
