Leptis Magna

Cooool.  I'm a bit of a Roman ruins junkie, and love watching Time Team.  Lately I've been watching The Long Way Down, in which Ewan McGregor and his mate ride motorcycles from Scotland to Cape Town.  They visited Leptis Magna (aka Lepcis Magna) in Libya of all places.  It's one of the most astounding and best preserved Roman sites in the world.  Take a tour here: http://www.alnpete.co.uk/lepcis/plans/zoomtown.html ; Just breathtaking.
