Allergic to penicillin after all. It took a week for my body to decide it didn't like it and create the antibodies necessary for an allergic reaction, hence the late onset, and also why I showed up as "not allergic" before. I believe to show up positive in those tests you need to have had an allergic reaction previously. This was my first encounter with amoxycillin, and most definitely my last!

I am not allergic to anything unless of course you count vacuuming. I'm def allergic to that.

and of course to have had an allergic reaction you need have had it prescribed. Glad you got it seen to - it was too much like my own allergic reaction to sulphur based drugs.

Yeah. Not the doc's fault - they took all precautions before hand but it's lucky it wasn't worse. Funnily, sulphur based are about the only antibiotics I can take, now.
