On LJ Layouts and New Fic

littleheavenWell, I caved and bought a year of LJ. So I could cave and buy the 50 user pics as well. Now I need a spiffy layout. Only problem is, I entirely suck at that sort of thing. I want to get my sucky free geocities website to match as well.
Is there anyone who does hosting that could do me a good deal? And anyone who is more technically inclined than myself to help me with my graphics? I will of course remunerate with fic, media, money, whatever!

gabs186. I even have a bit of the plot, and I'm quite excited with it. For research, I'm watching Angel S2, from Reunion to Epiphany. Plus, it passes the time while I do the housework!
Oh, and must not forget to say GO THE ALL BLACKS!!! for tonight's quarter final against South Africa in the Rugby World Cup. I'll be hiding under the table with my fingers in my ears, as I do with every game that makes me nervous (unless we're doing some serious ass-kicking, in which case I'll be dancing around the lounge in glee...).
That is all.

Date: 2003-11-07 07:23 pm (UTC)I don't think it looks old fashioned :o) Do you have anything with Angel in it as well? I think I'd prefer something more generic to the show rather than just Cordelia - all my stories revolve around their relationship, be it just friendship or whatever.
But if you don't have anything like that you want to give away, I'd gladly take this one, it's stunning.
I'll have a look at the Geocities paid sites, like you suggested. Probably easier to use for someone like me who has no web-building experience. Hubby can do html and dreamweaver etc but is always to busy to put the kind of time in that I'd need :o(

My site is done in just pure HTML, but she's going to use FrontPage I believe. I have Dreamweaver but am a complete retard with it. I use it to format my text files and nothing else.

I'll have to read the lj help pages and see if I can work out how to change my theme. That's be fun for the whole family tomorrow, while I wait for the anaesthetic to totally wear off LOL!
I forgot to ask - did you know I had a thing for lightning, or was that just a lucky guess? You rock, babe!
