Yeeeehaaaaa!
After 19 years and 6 months of waiting, last night I finally got to see Duran Duran live. Rather insultingly, they were the support act for Robbie Williams (we left after his first song - tee hee). They were fantastic! I cried, I laughed, I danced, I screamed like a little fangirl. I can't believe I actually got to see them after all these years. Now all we need to do is find out when they fly out (which should be sometime today) and ambush them at the airport.
On a sad note, my rat Bart died on Friday. I got home at 10pm and he was fine, but an hour later he was gone. He was laying on his side, like he was resting, and little Bridget was licking his face. I think he'd only been gone a few minutes when I found him. A lovely, peaceful passing for the old boy. He's next to his brother at the Garden of Remembrance now.
All in all, an emotional weekend!
