littleheavenIt's hot, it's humid, it's pouring with rain. Like being in the tropics without the sun and sand. Forecast for today? Thunderstorms! (here we go again...)
The lovely native Manuka trees in my garden are in flower - masses of tiny white star-like flowers. The trees look like they are covered in snow, with the branches drooping from the weight of the rain. And all the little petals are all over the garden, making it look like a dusting of snow on the grass. Very pretty :o)
Oh, and if you are a fan of Sarah McLachlan, rush out and buy her new CD Afterglow this very instant. Vintage Sarah, it carries on where Surfacing left off. It sometimes takes me a while to get into her music, but this one's doing it for me straight away.
And now I must do battle with the Northern Motorway. Rain and a full moon - not a good combo for traffic snarl-ups. People always drive like idiots during both!
