I can't breathe!
Dec. 11th, 2003 07:19 pmOkay, it was humid before... Now it's uber-humid. 99.9% humidity. I literally feel like I'm suffocating. And apparently this is just a little taste of what's to come in February, when it'll be worse. With thunderstorms (okay, I like that part!). What I want to know is, how can it be worse than 99.9%, without the air actually turning into water?
Today pissed me off. One of the companies I deal with just can't get anything right, and I waste so much of my time trying to find out what the hell they've done with the stock I sent them. Another company has late-delivered a vital item, and every branch in the Bank was calling me to say the stuff hadn't shown up. This supplier made me look like an idiot by promising the stuff would be delivered yesterday, and I told everyone it would be, then it didn't show. My medical insurance claim hasn't been paid. I've been sent a demand from the specialist for it, plus the $190 I paid them over a week ago (grrrr). The Garden Centre have stopped stocking the special gardening shoes my Mum wants for Christmas. And I have no idea what to write for my Secret Santa fic.
Wow, I feel better now. And the story I'm working on with Kel is going great guns. I've been typing away madly all afternoon, in between phone calls from furious branches, and the boss walking past!
