And the survey says...
Jan. 7th, 2004 11:45 amSince everyone else is doing it (baaaaa)...
Looking back, did you write more fic than you thought you would this year, less, or about what you'd predicted?
More, since I write very slowly, and thought I'd be lucky to get one finished!
What pairing/genre/fandom did you write that you would never have predicted in January 2003?
Lilah/Lindsey. Never thought I'd ever write those two.
What's your favorite story of the year? Not the most popular, but the one that makes you happiest?
Hard to answer. I really love The Case Of The Missing Santas, I think it's my best work so far. Though I also loved the vibe of Deluge. And I'm very excited about the story I've been writing since mid-year with
starlet2367, but I guess it doesn't count since it's not finished.
Did you take any writing risks this year? (See above for unexpected pairings, etc.) What did you learn from them?
Answering challenges and writing to deadlines. I'm terrible under pressure *g* I learned to just sit and write because I had to, and that not every story has to be fifty pages long!
Do you have any fanfic or profic goals for the New Year?
Nothing major. Finish the Ghost fic, and I'd like to do a really, really early ATS first season fic. A good, solid, plot-driven genfic. No pro aspirations right now - I'm happy with fanfic as a little hobby.
What stories did you complete in 2003?
Deja Vu (and I can't believe that was less than a year ago!)
The Case Of The Missing Santas
Blurry (Halloween Challenge)
Deluge (Challenge)
Overtime (Christmas Challenge)
Wow, that's quite a lot actually.

I'm having a really hard time finding new AtS genfic. Isn't there anything longish and plotty that's been written recently?
