Batten down the hatches
Feb. 15th, 2004 10:53 pmWow, it's turned nasty out there. Howling wind - garden furniture strewn all over the place - house shaking, power fluctuating (thank goodness for mega-surge-guards!)...
rachelcaine, we need a Weather Warden here, stat!
I've started making a music video. Goodness knows how it will turn out, but the titles look nice :o)
And my writer's block is clearing, and my Bloody Valentine fic is underway. Someone gave me a really difficult challenge, but I think I have it under control. Hopefully I'll have it finished in a couple of days.
If the house doesn't blow away...

Yay for the writer's block clearing! She did give you a tough one. She's evil sometimes. I, too, have to write a C/A story set in S2 of BtVS. I hope to finish in a couple days. Ugh. I hate being late, especially since my story (from Danny) was one of the first ones posted. I'm such a loser.

Date: 2004-02-15 10:18 am (UTC)Hee! Yep, it was rather exciting. I haven't looked out the window this morning to survey the damage. Last time we had a wind like that, I saw a big-ass old tree in the bush nearby fall over, with a huge crash. It was wild!
Yeah, C/A in BTVS is hard. I just have a thing about writing out of canon, I can't help it. But I think I've found a way around it...
Sending a Djinn your way!
