Row row row your boat...
Feb. 28th, 2004 08:04 pmGuh. Still raining. We've had over 2 inches today. Plus lots of wind. Boats sinking, trees on houses, roads flooding... And Cyclone Ivy is yet to arrive!
Still fairly calm in comparison in my little street, but I'm keeping an eye on the wattle trees behind the house. Tall and very thin. And they look like they're about to go.
Feeling all glamorous since I came back from the hairdressers with lovely golden highlights in my ash-coloured hair. Makes me look semi-blonde without washing the colour from my skin. I like :o)
I took the whole gang to the vets today. Ella is booked in for surgery on her lump on Friday. The reason for the delay is twofold. 1) It may just be an abscess, and the antibiotic I give her this week may make it go down or away, thus avoiding surgery. 2) If she needs an op, I want to be able to nurse her over the weekend. I like to keep a close watch on them the first couple of days after something traumatic like that.
