Peace reigns once again.

I think we can put this morning's debacle down to hypoglycemia and a lack of sleep on hubby's behalf. Still a bit pissed off at him, but he didn't seem to recall we'd had a disagreement when he rang me at lunchtime all full of news about golf clubs and general good humour. Ah the joys of living with a diabetic. At least it wasn't as traumatic as the morning he went mental and the ambulance men spent 20 minutes chasing him in circles around the sofa. I swear, I could almost hear the Benny Hill music playing...

Abby spent an uneventful day at the vet. Her breathing's a bit rough and grunty, but she seems very happy to be back with her sisters and Bridget. She's been sitting on poor Maggie and power-grooming her senseless. I'll be giving her antibiotics for the next week or so, until I am happy her chest is clear.

God, I really need some sleep. With hubby away golfing with the boys, I intend to spend the next two nights sleeping diagonally across the middle of the bed. Because I can!
