Really worried about my little ratty Bridget tonight.
After looking so ill after her tumour-ectomy on Thursday, she finally rallied late on Saturday, I thought she looked quite good on Sunday. But she seems to have gone downhill today. She's quiet, lethargic, puffed up. I bathed around her stitches with saline tonight, to get the pee off her fur, and under the skin was just black and purple - it looks like great big blood blisters. And she's not taking her nutrigel and soy milk very readily. I'd be in tears if it weren't for the fact she ate a cornflake just now.
If she survives this, I hope the tumour doesn't grow back. No way could I put her through this again. I feel so mean.
