Woo and hoo

Charlie (that's my new car) has been for an AA check - that's Automobile Association, not Alcoholics Anonymous - and all they could find wrong was a little paint chip near one of the mud guards. Hooray!! So now the deal is concrete, and they have put new tyres on, aligned the wheels, installed the CD player and fixed the paint chip. Tomorrow the alarm goes in, then there's the Warrant of Fitness, and a full groom, and little Charlie gets to come home with me :o)

I'm contemplating ideas for my next fic. I want to write, but I cant think of anything original at the moment. Well, there's one idea floating around, but I have to read one of my favourite childhood books to work out if it'll fly. All will be revealed... perhaps.

I know you've been having a tough time lately, hope you're feeling a bit better today. Yes, there will be more fic. I'm going to tackle something shorter, since everything I have written so far has been 20,000 words plus. I actually have an idea for a really short piece in reply to Kel and Laurie's challenge at A/C Angst. It's post S-4, which will be interesting, since I haven't actually SEEN season 4 LOL.

As Wesley would say - chin up. And keep your eyes out for that fic. If I do the short one it has to be finished by June 30th!

Now why would I want to escape from that? LOL. I've started writing the challenge fic already. Keep nagging me - I think it's working!
