Wow, I've had a nice day today. Which is great, after the sucky ones I had over the last few weeks.

This morning an old colleague from my branch banking days popped in to visit me (he's a techie for the Bank and often comes by on business). We both like 80's icon bands. His favourite is Kiss and I love Duran Duran. He popped by to see if I'd seen or heard Duran Duran's brand new album, the first one they've made with all the original members in about 19 years. "No," I replied, "when is it being released?" He told me the US and UK release dates (not until late October), then smiled and said "so it's a good thing I downloaded you a copy from the internet" and promptly produced a disc from his pocket. I almost hugged him.

And the fabulous and talented tesla321 has offered to write me PWP. I am in heaven.

Any time you like, though early Season 3 seems most plausible, for either of my couple preferences.

Yes, thanks to Krys for my pressie. And he didn't know it was my birthday on Monday either, that's what was so sweet. I've had a listen. Some of the album's a bit crap, some is good and will grow on me. I might upload one or two to my site for y'all to check out :o)
