The freaking kitchen sink blocked up last night. I poured a whole bottle of Drano down and it did nothing, just sat in the pipe all night. So now the whole house reeks of bleach. I finally cleared it this morning by starting the dishwasher, which empties into the same pipe, luckily above the blockage, and holding the plug down while the dishwasher emptied. The pressure broke through and cleared enough of the blockage for the water to drain away. I'm still going to put more Drano down tonight, I think. I'm just boiling the kettle to pour down there as well, to melt any fat still in the pipe.
Today is my first day at my new job. I have three big pimples on my face, one on my top lip that has made it swell up, and when I woke up, I got my period.
So all in all, not a fantastic morning.
On the bright side, the weather is still fantastic, and I don't have to drive over the harbour bridge to get to work anymore. Here's to cheaper petrol bills! And hubby polished my car for me yesterday :o) So I can't be too grumpy *g*
