Rec me some SG1!

Hey ho. I'm all vidded out. My writing muse seems to have taken off early in anticipation of Christmas. So all I want to do is read fic. Problem is, I'm too lazy to wade through all the detritus out there looking for the good stuff.

So please, please, rec me some good quality Stargate fic. Any pairing. Any rating. Het. Slash. Genfic. It just has to be GOOD. And preferably with lots of Daniel *g* I've inhaled all of Corby's and Julie Fortune's and even Rheanna's old stuff from last millenium. Since I'm late to the fandom I'm thinking maybe I'm unaware of the absolute classics that exist out there...

Have you tried the archives of http://www.thealphagate.com/ and http://www.jd-divas.com/? I recommend Biblio's stuff if you haven't read any of hers. I like Eos' stuff too. And if you like the really NC-17 slash that sometimes goes a little dark, have you read Pepe's fic?

Karendreamer posted a link to Pepe's Place within about two minutes of my post, so that's a double rec to go there. ;)Pepe does get into some serious kinks, but she does it in a generally non-squicky way.

And I'll say it again, that icon gives me serious grins.

I've read some of Pepe's stuff, actually. Her first-time fic is really good, but once Jack starts calling Daniel 'baby' and going all psycho-possessive, I tend to lose interest. It's all well-written though!

The psycho-possessive stuff was part of the particular plot of a story series (Edge of Darkness), but not all of them are like that. Try the "Sunray Inn" series. Still a bit of endearments, but not the possessiveness, but there are some rather... interesting... kinks explored. ;)
