I have a sore throat. This is not happening. Two days before Christmas. Two days before my holiday, which I now fear I will spend the majority of in bed, instead of taking my new weed-whacker out for some slashy fun in the back garden.

Share your never-fail cold remedies with me. I'm already popping vitamin C and echinacea. I need to knock this thing on the head so it only lasts a few days.

Dude, go and get a bottle of Bundaberg Rum, and gargle some. Then drink a little straight. That works for me! :) Also couldn't hurt to get as much garlic into you as possible. If all else fails, just keep popping Day and Night cold tablets - you'll never even know you're sick!

Poor Baby... I always drink as much orange juice as I can and take ibuprofen for the aches. Then there's curling up on the couch and watching as much SG-1, Farscape, Buffy and Angel as possible to take my mind off my misery... :)

I just got the end of SG-1 5 in the mail. I think I'll wait until I feel really lousy and then watch Meridian. That way I can disguise the blubbering as cold-related nose-blowing *g*
