Grandma Salt

I just found out that my adopted Grandma died this morning.

She's no relative of mine - actually, she's the mother of one of Mum's friends. But I have no grandparents in this country (and my real grandparents both died two years ago), so she said I could adopt her as an honorary Grandma. She was at my wedding. She liked to party hard, and always had a twinkle of mischief in her eye. One of life's true characters. She was 95.

Don't get too drunk up there, Grandma Salt.

Thanks, sweetie. I didn't see her that much, but a heck of a lot more than my actual grandparents. And now they're all gone :sigh:
